Hi students! Kindly check the points:
- The followers must be householders and should adopt some occupations.
- They should also contribute to the general funds of the community.
- The worship of one God is important.
- He insisted that caste, creed or gender was irrelevant for attaining liberation.
- He himself used the terms Nam, Dan and Isnan.

Answer:

Explanation:The teachings of guru Nanak's are as follows :

#Guru Nanak preached the unity of God and the unity of mankind.

#He advocated Devotion to God in place of ritualism.

#He belevied that "there is one God, his name is Ethernal Truth,He is the maker of all things.".

#He emphasised the importance of Devotion to God,and the repetition of Satnam (god's name)which should combine with meditation. It is the only means by which a soul can be saved from the cycle of birth and rebirth.

#Like Kabir,he believe that personal devotion to one God could lead to salvation regardless of caste, Creed or sect.

#He advocated a middle part in which spiritual life could be combined with the duties of the householder. He exhorted people to give up hypocrisy and insincerity and to lead a life of truth and honesty.

#He condemned idolatry in all its forms.
