Answers
Snake charming is the practice of enticing a snake and controlling its movements using music or using an instrument called "pungi".
Young snake charmers often got knowledge about snake charming from their forefathers through apprenticeship.
Some of the information that they got included the following;
1.Not all snakes are poisonous.
This could lead to snake charmers choosing the nonpoisonous snakes to charm since they were less dangerous compared to the poisonous ones.
2.One can practice defanging or desacing on a harmful snake.
This can be done by removing the fangs of a poisonous snake like cobra .This would lead to the cobra not to eat for one to three months ,then it would die.
This process requires some expertise.
During that period,the snake charmer will be able to practice some snake charming on the snake and maybe acquire some money from the onlookers.
This people would still hunt and get a snake for the continuity of the charming
3.Use of a snake stone to remove poison from the body of a bitten person.
This stone works by sticking on the affected part,then sucks all the poison from the body,and after the poison is over,the stone falls off.
All in all ,the snake charmers have one rule,"Dont get bitten."
