The lesson "Weathering the storm in Ersama" describes the devastating effects of a cyclone and the ways by which a young boy named Prashant, tries to restore his village from the aftermath of the cyclone.

After deciding to be the leader of the village, Prashant did two important things.

First: He organized the youths and elders of the village, into a group and with the group's support, he demanded the merchants to give rice to the people living in shelters.

Second: He organised the youth volunteers into a group and with their help cleaned the shelter and also provided care, by tending the wounds of the people injured in the cyclone.

He brought the children and women together into the shelter and the men went out to look for food and essentials for the shelter.
