Reasons for destruction of democracy in Germany:

• Ever since democracy was introduced in Germany in 1919, it was unable to represent the people and help them.

• Between 1919 and 1931 there were 21 ministers and 12 chancelors..

• Different parties had different policies which lacked continuity and the democratic government did nothing to help overcome people's economic and political concerns or prevent riots, strikes, unemployment, etc.

• The government also was not firm in denying to sign the disgraceful Treaty if Versailles.

• Hence, people lost faith in the democratic government and wanted someone to help people in their misery. This led to Adolf Hitler coming to power in Germany.
