They basically took away a lot of resources from Germany
All their overseas colonies
75 percent of its iron
26 per cent of its coal
13 per cent of its territories
10 percent of its population was given to countries such as France, Denmark, Lithuania and Poland
They also took over Rhine land for the nineteen twenties which was an important industrial area
They demilitarised Germany to reduce its strength
They also held it responsible for the war damages and had to pay reparations worth 6 billion pounds

These conditions were very harsh and destroyed the dignity and pride of the german people and further more, the economic conditions further worsened this and this led to the rise in popularity of nazi propaganda

This helped then come to power and Hitler soon started world war 2
