The Revolution of France that took place in 1789, abolished the monarchy and took charge of the state. The success of the revolution in France changed the entire socio-political structure in France.  The two most important effect of the revolution of France includes:

1.  It consolidated and expanded the authority of the national state.

2. It enhanced the feeling of French nationalism, and it established a model for a democratic French government.

The success of the French revolution can be seen in its actions such as this revolution put an end to the French kingship, it took away all the power of administration from the  Catholic church and ended feudalism.
