the conflict btwn mir jafar EEIC was that the EEIC was nt allowed to pay taxes when Aurangzeb was ruling bt after his death the ruler mir jafar became independent and asked the EEIC to pay the taxes.this was the reason of conflict behind the nawab of bengal and EEIC
