What wil happen if an apple is dropped into water

Well, the simplest answer is that "Apple will float" 

When an apple is dropped into water it will travel inside some distance initially and then came back and starts to float. This is because the density of apple is less than the density of water ,which means apple has the density of lower than that  of   1 g/mL . And we know anything which have the density lower than the density of water will float of water . So the apple will float on water.

When Apple is dropped in water It floats on water:

Reason:
The density of Apple is 0.74 gm/cm3
And the density of water is 1gm/ cm3

As the density of Apple is lesser than water, hence Apple floats. .
If we observe we can make out that 25% of Apple volume is filled with air hence it's lesser heavier than water.
