QUESTION.

what will a loan of rs 15000 amount to in 3 years if compounded annually at rate of 10%p.a.
show me the full method

ANSWER.

GIVEN.

P=15000 Rs

Time=3year

R=10% p.a

FORMULA USED

a =p( {1 +  \frac{r}{100} })^{t}

C.I= A-P

STEP 1

a = 15000( {1 +  \frac{10}{100} )}^{3}

a = 15000( { \frac{100 + 10}{100}) }^{3}

a = 15000 \times  \ \frac{110}{100}  \times  \frac{110}{100}  \times  \frac{110}{100}

a = 15  \times 11 \times 11 \times 11

a = 19965 \: rs

C.I = A-P= 19965-15000

= 4965 Rs

AMOUNT AFTER INTEREST IS = 19965 RS

Given,

Principal (P) = Rs 15000

Time (T) = 3 years

Rate (R) = 10% p.a.

Since compounded annually
