What will be effect on the velocity of a gas molecules if the temperature of gas is increased by a factor of 4?

Velocity (whichever one you mean here since there are different velocities for gases) is directly proportional to the square root of the temperature (which should be in Kelvin). Hence when temperature is increased by a factor of 4, Velocity will increase by a factor of 2
