what will be happen if a strip of zincis immersed in a solution of copper sulphate?

This happens because zinc is more reactive than copper.

CuSO4 solution has a blue colour while ZnSO4 solution is colourless.

When zinc and copper sulphate react in the aqueous state, a simple displacement reaction will take place in which the zinc will displace the copper from the copper sulphate to form zinc sulphate.

CuSO4 when reacts with the Zn becomes

color less and copper sulphet becomes blue color shaded layer.
