Given that the force of 7.10 Newton produces a acceleration of 2m/s² . Let us take the mass be m . So we know that force is :-

Force = mass × acceleration

⇝ Force = mass × acclⁿ .

⇝ 7.10 N = m × 2m/s² .

⇝ m = 7.10N / 2m/s².

⇝ m = 3.55 kg .

Hence the mass is 3.55 kg .

More Formulae :-

  • Force = mass × acclⁿ
  • Work =| F | |s | cosθ

Equations of Motion :-

  • v = u + at .
  • s = ut + ½at².
  • 2as = v² - u²

where v is final Velocity , u is Initial velocity , s is distance travelled , t is time taken and a is acceleration .

Solution :-

Given ,

  • Force = 7.10N
  • Acceleration of the body = 2m/s²

We need to find ,

  • Mass of the body

Using finding the mass using Newton's first law

F = m × a

By simplifying

m = F/a

Where ,

  • F → force = 7.10 N
  • m → mass = ?
  • a → acceleration = 2 m/s²

Substituting we have ,

⇒ m = 7.10/2

Mass of body = 3.55 kg

Hence , mass of body = 3.55 kg

More information :-

Kinematic equations :

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + 1/2 at²
  • v² - u² = 2as or 2gs
