hi friends Mr bean is here to help you
molarity =no. of moles/vol. in litres
no. of moles= 5.85/58.5=0.1
volume=0.5 litre
molarity=0.1/.05=0.2
molarity =no. of moles/vol. in litres
no. of moles= 5.85/58.5=0.1
volume=0.5 litre
molarity=0.1/.05=0.2

Here,w=5.85g,m=58.5(molar mass of NaCl),V=500ml
so,M=w×1000/m×V (use this formula when volume is in ml)
=5.85×1000/58.5×500
=0.2 molal
so,M=w×1000/m×V (use this formula when volume is in ml)
=5.85×1000/58.5×500
=0.2 molal
