what will be nature of solution form cao is dissolved in water? Name the substance formed when co2 gas is passed through this solution

When CaO is dissolved in water, It forms Ca(OH)2 and releases large amounts of heat. When CO2 gas is passed through calcium hydroxide, it forms Calcium Carbonate and Hydrogen Gas is evolved.
