When iodine solution is applied to the endosperm the endosperm starts looking out for a egg cell and it forms a zygote all around the iodine solution process. Endosperm is a tissue that covers and provides the needed nourishment to the embryo within the seeds of an angiosperm

hope it will help you

thanks
