it is an arithmetic progression.
where the first term is 1 and the common difference is also 1
an=a+(n-1)d
55=1+(n-1)1
55-1=n-1
55-1+1=n
n=55......now take out the sum of 55terms via this formula_Sn=n/2{2a+(n-1)d}....thanks.
