What will be the accelaration of an elevator of weight 3000kg. When the tension in the supporting cable is 3300 n? (take g =9.8m/s^2)?

weight(mg)=3000×9.8 N

tension=3300N

Mass(m)=3000Kg

let acceleration be =a

T-mg=ma

3300-3000×9.8=3000a

100(33-30×9.8)=100×10a

33-294=10a

-261=10a

a=-26.1m/s^2(downward acceleration)
