What will be the ammeter and the voltmeter reading in the circuit given below ? Given the voltage of the battery and the resistor R in the circuit are 12V and 2 ohm respectively

V = 12V

R = 2Ω

TO FIND:

Ammeter and voltmeter reading.

ANSWER:

As we know,

I = V/R (∵Ammeter is used to measure current I)

I = 12V/2Ω

I = 6A is the required answer.

Also to find voltmeter reading,

V = IR(∵Voltmeter is used to measure potential difference V)

V = 6A×2Ω

V = 12V is the required answer.
