In the first phase of the meiosis if the meiocyte contains 40pg DNA then it will be doubled in the first phase and then it will be 80pg DNA after phase. When it enters the second meiosis II then it will be divided into 4 daughter cells then 80/4=20 pg. Then there will be 20pg in the individual cells.
