Step-by-step explanation.

Given,

Principal = Rupees 5000

Rate = 5 %

Time = 6 years

Method,

S.I. =

 \tt\dfrac{P \:  \times  \: R\times  \: T}{100}

Solution,

x =

 \tt\dfrac{5000 \:  \times  \: 5 \:  \times  \: 6}{100}

After Cancellation...

Rupees 1500

Taking out the amount,

Amount = S.I. + Principal

A = Rs. 1500 + Rs. 5000

A = Rupees 6500

Hence the amount is,

Rupees 6500

Answers :

Simple Interest = Rupees 1500

Amount = Rupees 6500
