Question:-

Find the area of the circular bed whose perimeter is 88 m.

Solution:-

Perimeter of Circle

 = 2\pi  r

So, We have

2\pi  r = 88 \\ \\  2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times r = 88 \\ \\   r =  \frac{88 \times 7}{22 \times 2}  \\  \\  r = 14m

We have Area of Circle

 = \pi( {r})^{2}

So, Area of Circle =

 \frac{22}{7}  \times  {14}^{2}

 \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 \times 14

 = 22 \times 2 \times 14

 = 616m

Formulae:-

Area of circle=

\pi {r}^{2}

Perimeter of circle=

2\pi \: r
