Question:-

Find the area of the circular bed whose perimeter is 88 m.

Solution:-

Perimeter of Circle

$= 2\pi r$

So, We have

$2\pi r = 88 \\ \\ 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r = 88 \\ \\ r = \frac{88 \times 7}{22 \times 2} \\ \\ r = 14m$

We have Area of Circle

$= \pi( {r})^{2}$

So, Area of Circle =

$\frac{22}{7} \times {14}^{2}$

$\frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 14$

$= 22 \times 2 \times 14$

$= 616m$
