The roots will be equal if b = 0

Let the roots be y and (-y)

We know, b = sum of roots.

So, b = - y + y = 0.

➡️ Option (a) is the answer.

 <b> REGARDS, ARNAB ✌️

THANK YOU

kasturi70: explain how?
umitumang: I think Ans will be zero. since sum of Roots is zero here. and sume of roots = -b/a = 0. so b=o
arnab2261: it's a formulae..
kasturi70: No It won't be zero
kasturi70: okay,I got it
umitumang: if one root is 'x' then other roots be '-x'. sum wilk be x-x=0. and Sum of roots is equal to -b/a.
umitumang: Ans will be A. 0
kasturi70: oh yes,Its true..thank you
umitumang: welcom
