1) For ideal gases

PV =nRT

where P is pressure, V is volume, n is no of moles, R is gas constant and T is temperature,

no of moles = given mass / molar mass

PV= (m/M)RT

V is inversely proportional to M

Given, Mᵃ > Mᵇ

therefore,

Vᵃ < Vᵇ

option c is correct
