How do you respond to “D'où venez-vous?”

A more powerful you.

The correct translation is :

« Where do you come from ? »

So if you speak English and for example you’re from London, you could say in French :

« Je viens de Londres » (« I am from London »)

You can introduce the coutry if your city is not famous :

« Je viens de Londres, c’est en Angleterre » (« I am from London, this is in England »)

PS: In French, Londres (don’t pronounce the ‘s’) means London, and Angleterre means England
