Dividing 4 on b/s

250x² - 5x -2 =0

By quadratic eqn.

D= b²-4ac= (-5)² - 4×250(-2)

=25+2000

=2025

x=(-b+-√D) /2a

x=5 +- 45/2×250

Either

x=5+45/500

x=50/500

x=1/10

or

x=5-45/500

x=40/500

x=2/25
