Answer:

3;9;4

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that,

1) 2 , 9, 1 -- equation -(1)

2) 2 , 4, 5 -- equation -(2)

3) 4, 6, 7 -- equation-(3)

4) 5, 7, 8 -- equation -(4)

5) 5, 6, 9 -- equation -(5)

We observe that, totally there are 9 numbers.

And from equation -(4) the elements 5,7,8 are removed.

From first equation, we can observe that one number is correct and placed in the right place.

But in the second equation, they have given that one number would be correct but in the wrong place. As 2 is present in both cases and at same place ,the reasons are different.

Hence 2 is removed.

Now there are 5 numbers. i.e., 1,3,4,6,9.

Again from equation (2) the numbers 2,5 are eliminated.

Hence , one of the correct numbers will be "4".

In equation (3) , 4 should be present in third place because, from equation (2) and (3) the places occupied by 4 are different and wrong that is ,1 & 2. Hence From equation (3) if 4 & 3 exchange their places the two numbers would be correct and placed in right manner.

Hence , the second number would be 3.

From equation (5) 9 is correct because 5,6 are being removed.

Now ,

The pattern can be written as,

• 4 is placed as 3rd because from (2) & (3) it is present in 1 & 2 and in wrong places. Hence it is present in 3rd place.

• From equation (1) , 9 is present in correct place.

Hence it is present in 2nd place.

•The remained number 3 is present in 1st place.

Therefore, the code is 3,9,4.
