So, here a = 50, b = 50  and c = 20

s = \frac{a + b+ c}{2}  =  \frac{50 + 50+ 20}{2}  = 60

s-a = 60 -50 =10 = s-b

s-c  = 60 - 20 = 40

Now, putting all values in the heron's formula, we get

area = \sqrt{60(10)(10)(40)}

       = \sqrt{240000}  = 489.89
