Answer:

in the reactants side we have 2 molecules of iron

are present so in the product side we also need 2 Fe molecules to balance the equation so we multiplied it with 2

same we have 3 oxygen molecules so to balance it we take O2 separately and add one O with Fe..

and we are also given the carbon molecule on the reactants side so it combines with oxygen gas to make carbon dioxide...
