Answer:

hey mate here is your ans..

Explanation:

We know Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length + breadth)

Let length be l and breadth be b

Thus 2 (l + b) = 82 m.

l + b= 82/2 = 41 m

l = 41 - b…Eq..1

We know Area of rectangle = length × breadth

l × b = 400 sq m.

l = 400/b…Eq..2

On equating both Equation Eq..1 and Eq..2

41 - b = 400/b

41 = 400/b + b

41 = (400 + b^2)/b

41 b = 400 + b^2

b^2 - 41b + 400

b^2 - 16b - 25b + 270

b (b - 16) - 25 (b - 16)

(b - 16) (b - 25)

b = either 16 m or 25 m

In a rectangle breadth is smaller than length hence breadth is 16 m

Hence the breadth of rectangle is 16 m.

Answer the breadth of rectangle is 16 m.

Answer:

Perimeter = 400cm

Length = 80cm

Breadth = ?

Perimeter = 2( l + b)

400 = 2 (80 + b)

400. = 160 + 2b

400–160 = 2b

 \frac{240}{2}  = b \\ b = 120
