what will be the change if 2-3 drops of iodine solution are poured in boiled rice

The rice contain starch and iodine gives a reaction with starch. the colour will change to blue black.

the boiled rice which was not chewed will turn blue black when we put iodine solution..
the boiled rice which was chewed the
saliva wil break down the starch into sugar when idine solution is mixed.
and doesn't turn blue black in colour when drops of iodine solution is mixed with chewed boiled rice.
