Given the radius of base = 6m.

Given slant height = l = 8m.

We have to apply Total surface area formula because the base area is including in this and it is applied to flat surfaces.

Now,

We know that total surface area = pirl + pir^2

= \ \textgreater \ \pi r(l + r)

= > (22/7) * 6[8 + 6]

= > 22 * 12

= > 264

The cost of making 10 m^2 = 264 * 10

                                              = 2640.

Therefore, the cost of making a closed cone of tin sheet = 2640.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

Rupees 2640

Step-by-step explanation:

r = 6m \\ l = 8m \\ tsa \:  = \pi \: r \: l + \pi {r}^{2}  \\  = \pi \: r(l + r) \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 6(8 + 6) \\  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 6  \times 14 \\  = 22 \times 12 \\  = 264 {m}^{2}  \times 10 \\ rs.2640
