The volume of displaced water increases if load is added into the ship floating in the ocean and the height of the ship is lower due to the load that is putted into the ship.
And we removed that weight from the ship then the ship regain its height and the volume of displaced water is also decreases. In our daily life, we can see that whenever we put some heavy materials into the water, the level of water increases.
