what will be the effect of force if the distance is changed to it s equals to half​

wkt, w=F × s

then , F= w/s
if s= s/2
then,force will become 2F,that is doubled.....
thus ,if s=s/2 ,
force (F) = 2F

the force is doubled because the attraction or repulsion is weaker or as per coulombs law.we can verify
