What will be the effect on horizontal range of a projectile when its initial velocity is doubled, keeping the angle of projection same​

Answer:  According to this formula the range of projectile is directly propotional to the square of the initial velocity. So when the initial velocity is doubled the range of projectile becomes four times as per the formula where as the angle of projectile remains un changed.
