What will be the effect on maximum height of a projectile when its angle of projection is changed from 30o to 60o, keeping the same initial velocity of projection?

maximum height =  \frac{ u^{2}  sin^{2} \alpha  }{2g}

for α=30,

maximum height =  \frac{ u^{2} sin^{2}30}{2g}  \frac{ u^{2} }{8g}

for α=60,

maximum height =  \frac{ u^{2} sin^{2}60}{2g}  =  \frac{3 u^{2} }{8g}

So maximum height will increase.
