Iswaran would have explained Mahendra that it was just an imagination and would make him understand that there’s were no such thing called ghost.

As Mahendra got scared and shifted the house, iswaran still would have been telling such stories and entertaining Mahendra. Iswaran would have been scaring him with the effect so and special anecdotes he makes. Anyway they both know that they are enjoying each other’s company’s very much.
