what will be the equivalent resistance between point A and B​

as from A the three resistance will make series and total will be 6 ohm thn B also will make 6 ohm by series pattern thn the resistance 6 and 2 set up in parallel will make a total of 8/12 or 2/3 . Then all resistance are in parallel I.e 1/6 + 1/6 + 2/3 it is making 1 ohm which is not in the options.

using \: the \: formula \:  =  \frac{r2 \times r1}{r1 + r2}

we get,

 = \frac{ 6 \times 2}{6 + 2}  =  \frac{12}{8}

as it is similar to other side

so,

 =  \frac{12}{8}   \: +  \:\frac{12}{8}  =  \frac{24}{8}  = 3ohm
