Given :  a period of 8 s and 250 ns

frequencies of 10 MHz and 160 KHz

To Find : Frequency

Period

Solution:

Frequency is the number of complete cycles in 1 sec

Time Period is time taken to complete a cycle

Time Period = 8 sec

=> Cycles completed in 8 secs  = 1

=> Cycles completed in 1 secs  = 1/8   = 0.125

=> Frequency = 0.125 Hz

=> Frequency =  125 mHz

Time Period = 250 nano sec

Frequency = 1/250 * 10⁻⁹   = 4 Mhz

Frequency =   10 MHz

=> 10 * 10⁶ cycle in 1 sec

= > 1  cycle in    1/ 10 * 10⁶  secs

=> 1 cycle  in 100 nano sec

Time Period = 100 nano sec

Frequency =   160 KHz

=> 160 * 10³ cycle in 1 sec

=> Time period =  1/ 160 * 10³   = 6.25 μ secs
