Given:

Total surface area of cuboid is 275 cm square

Square base area is 25 cm square

To Find:

What will be the height of a cuboid?

Solution:

Base of cuboid is square

Area of square base = Side^2

We are given that area of base is 25 sq.cm.

Side^2 = 25

Side=\sqrt{25}

Side=5

So, Length = Breadth = 5 cm

Total surface area of cuboid =2(lb+bh+hl)=2(5\times 5 + 5h+5h)=2(25+10h)

We are given that total surface area is 275 cmsquare

So,2(25+10h)=275\\25+10h=\frac{275}{2}\\h=\frac{\frac{275}{2}-25}{10}\\h=11.25

Hence the height of a cuboid is 11.25 sq.cm.
