What will be the length of the hypotenuse of a right angle if the lengths of its legs are 6 cm and 8 cm respectively?​

Formula to find the length of any RIGHT-ANGLED TRIANGLE:

h²=p²+b²

h²=p²+b²p²=h²-b²

h²=p²+b²p²=h²-b²b²=h²-p²

Based on that formula , we have:

p=6cm & b=8cm ..

And we have to find hypotenuse i.e.=h

So we have to apply the first formula i.e.

h²=p²+b²

=>h²=6+8

=>h=36+64

=>h=100

=>h=100. {we used root as sq.(² ) came to RHS}

=>h=10

So HYPOTENUSE = 10cm..
