Here is your answer..

If the net force is equal to zero the object is said to be in equilibrium.

In general an object can be acted on by several forces at the same time. A force is a vector quantity which means that it has both a magnitude and a direction associated with it.

The force can act in the same direction or in the opposite direction: 1)If the two forces applied to an object act in the same direction ,then the resultant force acting on the object is equal to the sum of two forces: When two forces act in the same direction their effective magnitude increases.

I hope my answer is help you..

Q]what will be the magnitude of force if two force are acting on a body in the same direction

ANS ]

↪ If the two Forces Acted along same direction then

Ft [total force ]= F1[first force ]+ F2[ second force ]

And if the two forces acted along opposite direction then magnitude will be obtained by taking difference of them
