Given:-

  • Force ,F = 200 N

  • Acceleration due to Gravity ,a = 5m/s²

To Find:-

  • Mass of the object,m

Solution:-

As we know that Force is the product of mass and acceleration .

• F = ma

where,

F is the Force

m is the mass

a is the acceleration

Substitute the value we get

→ 200 = m×5

→ m = 200/5

→ m = 40 Kg

Therefore,the mass of the object is 40 Kg.

Additional Information !!

• The rate of change of velocity at per unit time is called acceleration .

• SI unit of acceleration is m/s²

• It is vector Quantity ( both magnitude and direction)

Answer:

Given :-

  • A force of 200 N produce acceleration of 5 m/s .

To Find :-

  • What is the mass of an object.

Formula Used :-

To find mass we have to use the formula of mass and we know that,

\boxed{\bold{\large{F\: =\: ma}}}

where,

  • F = Force
  • m = Mass
  • a = Acceleration

Solution :-

Given :

  • Force = 200 N
  • Acceleration = 5 m/s

According to the question by using the formula we get,

200 = m × 5

\sf\dfrac{\cancel{200}}{\cancel{5}} = m

40 = m

m = 40 kg

\therefore The mass of an object is 40 kg .
