Quadratic equation whose roots are ( -5 , -4) is
(x+5)(x+4) = 0 .

x²+5x+4x+20 = 0
x²+9x + 20 = 0 .

Middle term = 9x

Therefore, the middle term is 9x

Heya........!!!!

Given in the question :

➡ Roots of the quadratic equation = -5 , -4

We have to take out the middle term of quadratic equation , and we know that quadratic equation is in the form of
= ax^2 + bx + c , we have to take out ' b ' .

➡ ( x + 5 )( x + 4 ) {{ Given roots = ( -5 , -4 ) }}

➡ x^2 + 9x + 20 .

♦ Middle Term = 9 .
