Answer:

  • mass of solute [Hcl] = 18.25 g
  • mass of water =500 g
  • molar mass of HCl= 1+ 35.5

= 36.5

  • density = mass of solution/ volume

1g/ml = 500 /volume

[ density of H2o=1]

  • volume of solution = 500 ml

molarity[ M] = mass of solute[g] ×1000÷molar mass of solute × volume of solution [ ml]

M = 18.25 × 1000/ 36.5 × 500

M = 18250/18250

M = 1 mol / kg

hope it helps .

Answer:mass of solute [Hcl] = 18.25 g

mass of water =500 g

molar mass of HCl= 1+ 35.5

= 36.5

density = mass of solution/ volume

1g/ml = 500 /volume

[ density of H2o=1]

volume of solution = 500 ml

molarity[ M] = mass of solute[g] ×1000÷molar mass of solute × volume of solution [ ml]

M = 18.25 × 1000/ 36.5 × 500

M = 18250/18250

M = 1 mol / kg
