What will be the new volume of a gas at constant temperature if the
pressure on 1200 m/ of it is increased 70 cm to 120 cm mercury.​

PV = constant

P1 = 70cm

P2 = 120 cm

V1 = 1200 ml

As P1V1 = P2 V2

V2 = {(P1 V1)/P2}

= {(70 × 1200)/(120)}
