 Normality of resulting solution=N1V1+N2V2/V1+V2

V1/V2=1/2       =  V2=2V1

N1=0.45 N ,V1= V1 ; N2=0.60 N, V2= 2V1 ( Substituting in above equation)

  0.45V1+0.60*2V1/V1+2V1

= 0.45V1+1.20V1/3V1

=1.65V1/3V1  ( V1 gets cancelled)

=0.55 N
