Yes, sea water would change color with red litmus paper because sea water is basic. Under basic, or alkaline, conditions, red litmus paper turns blue. Being between the pH range of 7.5 and 8.4 (between 7 and 14 marks basic conditions), sea water is basic and, therefore, the red litmus paper will change color...........hope this will help u..........
