Step-by-step explanation:

the area of a rectangle = l * b

so length is given 6 cm

6 cm * b = 24 cm^2

b = 24/6 cm

b = 4 cm

now we got length = 6cm and breadth = 4 cm

now perimeter of a rectangle = 2(l * b)

2(6 + 4 ) cm

2 * 10 cm

= 20 cm

Hence the perimeter is 20 cm

Hope its helpful

Answer:

Given : Area of rectangle(Ar) = 24cm²

Length of the rectangle(l) = 6cm

Find : Perimeter of the rectangle

We know that, the area of a rectangle(Ar) = length(l)×breath(b)

24cm² = 6cm× b

b = 4cm

Now, Perimeter of a rectangle (P) = 2(l+b)

P = 2(6+4) cm

P = 2×10cm

P = 20cm

I hope it will be helpful for you
