what will be the polarity of one end of a solenoid if the current appears to be flowing anticlockwise in it ?

The solenoid carrying current acts like a bar magnet. One end of the solenoid becomes the N-pole and other end becomes the S-pole.


End rule is used to determine the polarity of the solenoid ends.


Considering on end of the solenoid, if the circular face of the current flows in the anticlockwise direction, the that end becomes the N-pole and if the current flows in the clockwise direction, the that end becomes the S-pole.
