what will be the potential difference across the above combination if applied potential is 6v.

potential difference will be same I.e. 6V . bcoz the resistors are connected in parallel combination .and in parallel combination, potential difference remains same.

vini117: you can calculate effective resistance bt it is only waste of time coz by the principle you must have use value of potential difference equals to 6

6 volt coz potential difference remains same when resistance are connected in parallel.
